Island Old Fashioned
2 oz. The Real McCoy® 5 Year
1 tsp. John D. Taylor’s Velvet Falernum
1 tsp. Sugar Cane Syrup
2 dashes Aromatic bitters
Build in rocks glass, stir in ice. Garnish with lemon or orange peels.
An easy-sipping classic.
Negroni Paradiso
1 oz. The Real McCoy® 12 Year
1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
1 oz. Amaro
Combine all ingredients in mixing glass with ice. Strain over large cube in a rocks glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
Equal parts all, and a perfect aperitif.
3 Year Cocktails
Honeysuckle
2 oz. The Real McCoy®3 Year
¾ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
¾ oz. Honey Syrup (1:1 mix of honey & water)
2 dashes Grapefruit Bitters
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into coupe. Garnish with citrus wedge.
White Negroni
1 ½ oz. The Real McCoy®3 Year
1 oz. Fortified Dry Vermouth
½ oz. Gentian Liqueur
Stir all ingredients with ice for 15 seconds. Strain over ice into a stem glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Rumtini
2 ½ oz. The Real McCoy®3 Year
½ oz. Dry Vermouth
Shake ‘McCoy with vermouth and ice until well chilled. Strain into chilled stem glass. Garnish with olives or a lemon twist.
5 Year Cocktails
Barbados Buck
1 ½ oz. The Real McCoy®5 Year
2-3 oz. Ginger Beer
Pour the rum over ice in a rocks glass then top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wedge, mango, or candied ginger.
** Cane sugar sweetened preferred, such as Brooklyn Crafted or Fever Tree.
Corn 'n' Oil
2 oz. The Real McCoy®5 Year
1/2 oz. John D. Taylor's Velvet Falernum
Dash Angostura Bitters
Add all ingredients to a double Old Fashioned glass with a large, 2x2" ice cube. Stir thoroughly to dilute and chill. Express 10-15 drops of a lime coin. Add coin to the glass, give one last stir & serve.
La Floridita No. 2
2 oz. The Real McCoy®3 or 5 Year
¾ oz. Lime juice
¼ oz. Orange juice
¼ oz. Orange Curaçao
¼ oz. Simple syrup
Shake all ingredients and strain into coupe. Garnish with lime wedge.
An all-season daiquiri warmed by that Florida sunshine of Bill McCoy’s home state.
12 Year Cocktails
Velvet Curtain
1 ½ oz. The Real McCoy®12 Year
1 ½ oz. Coffee Liqueur
Absinthe Cream*
Stir Real McCoy and Coffee Liqueur with ice for 30 seconds. Strain into chilled coupe. Float Absinthe cream. Garnish with cocoa powder.
*Absinthe Cream:
For each 5 ounces of heavy whipping cream, add 1 tsp. Absinthe and 1 tsp. simple syrup. Combine in a 12 oz. squeeze bottle and shake well until thick.
Aficionado Old Fashioned
1 ½ oz. The Real McCoy®12 Year
1 tsp. Real Maple Syrup
4 dashes Aromatic bitters
Stir all ingredients in mixing glass with ice. Strain over large cube in a rocks glass. Garnish with orange twist.
Mojito Royal
1½ oz. The Real McCoy®12 Year
¾ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
¾ oz. Simple Syrup
6 Mint Leaves
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
2 oz. Dry Sparkling Wine
Our rums are the perfect spirit for any mojito - but if you want to get boujee try it with some 12 year. Lightly muddle mint in bottom of shaker. Combine rum, lime & simple in shaker and shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Strain into coupe and top with bubbly. Garnish with a mint leaf.
